Optimum Lightpath Triples Number of Channel Partners in First Year of Partner Referral Program
JERICHO, N.Y. -- Optimum Lightpath, the next-generation business broadband service provider of Cablevision Systems Corporation, today announced dramatic growth of the company's Referral Partner Program after less than one year of it being offered. The number of system integrators, VARs and IT consultants in the company's channel program tripled in the first year, attracting organizations from throughout the Tri-State area, including New Jersey, Westchester, Connecticut and Long Island.
One of Optimum Lightpath's channel partners is Gregory R. Tellone, founder and president of GTel Networks, a Long Island-based technology firm that provides a range of business continuity and disaster recovery services as well as IT consulting and staffing. As the COO of Continuity Centers, Mr. Tellone was an extremely satisfied client of Optimum Lightpath's voice and data services. "The day I found out Optimum Lightpath offered Tier 1 fiber access to the premises, I signed on as a partner. Our clients are high-end businesses that demand the level of service that Optimum Lightpath provides; it's an easy sell when we ensure them that we can deliver this level of service over fiber when they are accustomed to dealing with the issues of the outdated copper infrastructure offered by the telcos," said Tellone.
